Directly responsible for payment posting, charge entry, collections, coders, billers, contracting and credentialing departments. The MSO is directly responsible for all aspects of A/R cycle management and reporting as well as IT, HR and contracting services for all clients. Revenue cycle management and physician compensation statements are the main focus of this position. Heavy involvement with contracting for gain share opportunities and ACO requirements also required.

Duties include management and oversight of 12 employees in 3 different departments including; Collections, Payment Posting, and Provider Relations. During my tenure as collection manager I have automated all processes including adjustments and breakdowns, revenue reporting and collection reconciliation processes. I have continually met budget guidelines without compromising patient or client satisfaction. Claim collection follow-up, appeals and contract dispute resolution is the main focus of this position. Heavy emphasis on revenue cycle management and client reporting is also a large part of the position. This position is goal oriented with monthly collection goals set by the vice president. Business Office Director-(CONTRACT)-The Woodlands, TX. Position included heavy A/R cleanup for a 54 physician 13 location, multi-specialty group. Position included charge entry, heavy coding, payment posting, appeals and major emphasis on revenue management and reporting directly to COO. Contract was extended through the acquisition of 14 physicians from the Saddler Clinic for an additional 12 months. Once acquisition and integration were complete contract was terminated.
