My past employers have noted me as a very reliable coworker. It became well known right away that I would always show up on time for my assigned shifts as well as shifts covered for other coworkers. I was also seen as a coworker to go to when they needed extra help for the day or when they were in need of someone to start early or stay later.
In previous jobs I have had to deal with difficult customers who have more than tested my patience. I have proven with the way I handle myself in these situations that I can maintain a professional demeanor and attitude at all times, and continue to help the customer to the best of my abilities.
In past jobs I have been trusted with assignments that were above my position. I have been trusted with large amounts of money in helping with end of night safe counts as well as been asked on numerous occasions to take over the job of on shift training for new coworkers.
Teamwork has always been a big part of my life through sports, school, and work. I have learned the value of working as a team to accomplish shared goals. Teamwork has also taught me the importance of listening to what other members of the team have to contribute.
Through my experience at Lethbridge College I have better learned how to communicate my thoughts and ideas with others. I can communicate in one-on-one scenarios as well as group or public speaking scenarios with ease.
Organization is extremely important to me. I like to keep all my files, both personal and school related, sorted and organized for easy access later on. This allows me to find what I am looking for effortlessly. I also like having things planned out, even if it is just a general plan, so that I can better grasp what and how I will accomplish the end result.
