An entrepreneur and physical therapist with more than two decades of experience in his field, Edward P. Lee owns and operates Physical Therapy and Sports Assessment Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. Commanding an impressive and diversified professional background, Edward P. Lee began to lay the educative foundations for his career while an undergraduate at South Carolina State University. An outstanding student and wide receiver for the Division IAA Bulldogs football team, Edward P. Lee earned induction into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society, won an honorable mention to the All Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Team, and graduated cum laude from SC State in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Following graduation, Edward P. Lee was drafted by the Detroit Lions as a wide receiver and kickoff returner, although a torn ACL ended his career during his second season with the team. After pursuing post-graduate studies at Oakland University in Michigan, Edward P. Lee relocated to the greater Washington, D.C., metropolitan area to enroll in a full-time physical therapy program at Howard University. From 1986 through 1988, Edward P. Lee learned the finer points of physical therapy at Howard, earning distinction as the top academic and clinical student in his class. Graduating summa cum laude from Howard with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Edward P. Lee subsequently embarked on a prolific career as a physical therapist, beginning with a staff position at The Physical Therapy Center in Arlington, Virginia.
For the next three years, Edward P. Lee evaluated and treated all manner of patients at The Physical Therapy Center, gaining a strong degree of outpatient clinical experience. At the end of this period, Edward P. Lee founded Physical Therapy and Sports Assessment Center, where he works today.
