About Edward Adams

An experienced accounting, finance, and law professional, Edward Adams became partner at Adams Grumbles, LLP, in 2014. There, he serves the needs of a number of start-up company clients utilizing his decades of experience. With a juris doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School, Edward Adams is also acting general counsel with the Devenir Group, LLC, which manages more than $1 billion in healthcare savings accounts across the country.

For more than 20 years, Edward Adams has served as the Howard E. Buhse professor of law and finance and director of CLE programs at the University of Minnesota law school. With an endowed chair in law and finance, he has also served on the university’s judicial clerkship, learning improvements, and educational policy committees. Adams also founded an Introduction to Law program, designed to introduce disadvantaged and minority high school students to the field of law. Additionally, he founded the People’s Law Program, where members of the community can receive free legal advice.
