I have a passion for cycling. I ride downhill, all-mountain, cross-country, cycle-cross, road, and even beach cruisers. I have raced competitively in multiple categories. I am also a member of a local race team sponsored by the bike shop I am currently employed at. I am married to my high school sweetheart who has been with me for over 10 years. We have one child and purchased our first home in Modesto in 2009. My apprenticeship has given me the understanding necessary to build my own bikes. As a frame fabricator and qualified salesman, I will be a priceless commodity at any bike shop I work at. Seeing  as how the position I am applying for requires both of these abilities, I am a perfect fit.

My Name is Ed Battisfore. I will be graduating from California State University, Stanislaus in the Spring. I currently have a job that i am very happy at. I am however always open to new opportunities. If one such opportunity should arise my talents lie in sales, communications with a special emphasis in organizational communications, and a unique ability to read people. I especially shine in both competitive and creative fields. I love to travel and enjoy cycling. With what little down time I have I am constantly learning. Whether it is how to build cabinets, how to best clean a bathroom, or designing new frame geometries, I am constantly trying to become better at everything I do. I have been married for 3 years to my high school sweetheart and this last February we had our first child. I look forward to finishing school and finding my next adventure.
