Regional Manager (Calgary/Houston)

  • Operations and Sales Manager for Calgary and US office with responsibilities for over 20 employees.
  • Manage and direct operations for Calgary & Houston offices.
  • Set and implemented budget and expense goals for operations/sales for Calgary & Houston.
  • Determined yearly sales forecasting models in accordance with company objectives.
  • Work closely with reports to ensure completion of goals and objectives as laid out by the President both sales and operation KPI's.
  • Recruit and develop operation staff as required, positions ranged from warehouse to local branch management.
  • Conduct compensation reviews for all staff in both operations.
  • Work closely with local branch managers to ensure proper operations management. (Inventory turns, Accounts Receivable, Profitability) 
  • Reduced inventory turns in 2015 from 2.3 to 3.7 in 2016 through EOQ procurement model.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our key competitors and their abilities.
  • Maintain strong and cordial relationships with corporate level managers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through joint sales calls, assisting sales reps as required.
  • Work closely with engineering groups of large corporate accounts to gain market share for the company.
  • Ensure cohesion between sales and all operation divisions in branches. Worked closely with Inside Sales and Warehouse personnel as well as Marketing.

  • Drove sales from $3,000, 000 to $10,000, 000 in the US and Canada through direct sales and sales management.
  • 2014 Sales Growth of 30% in Canada and 9% in the US. (Major Acct Development)
  • 2013 Sales Growth of 46% in Canada and 6% in the US. (New Product Introduction)
  • 2012 Sales Growth of 30. 2% in Canada and 19. 3% in the US. (US Sales Development)
  • 2011 Sales Growth of 19. 6% in Canada and 40.2% in the US. (US Sales Development)
  • 2010 Sales Growth of 7% in Canada and 11% in the US.  (New Product Development)
  • Developed QC program to reduce shipping and invoicing errors, operating at 99.5% accuracy rate
  • Developed training program for all operations staff which improved onboarding process.
  • Developed distribution partnerships with Coorstek USA, Kyocera and Kalsi Engineering.
  • Wrote several keynote articles for our industry trade magazine.

  • Processed request for quotes from assigned customer accounts.

Co Owner

THD Hockey Development
  • Co Owner Scheduled and conducted elite camps for amateur hockey players from ages 10-16.
  • Guide players through skill and tactical approaches to the game.
  • Conducted prep camps for players entering try-outs and combines.
  • Responsible for all marketing efforts including brochures, email group blasts.
  • Financial responsibility for THD including P&L.
