Business Analyst, FAA asked TetraTech/AMTi to assist with the MyBI help desk; provide report and visual report guidance, requirements, and testing. Mr. Frank is currently managing the MyBI Helpdesk and assisting in the understanding of the FAA One and PURE Data Warehouse data and applications. He has a very strong understanding of FAA functional and technical requirements, which has assisted in knowledge transfer to the current team. Mr. Frank also established and configured the MyBI Remedy Support Groups, monitors and manages the tickets. Mr. Frank also leads a team of testers and requirement specialists.

Mr. Frank evaluated TVA legacy Land and Reservoir applications and data models to be considered for inclusion into IBM TRIRIGA. Mr. Frank analyzed 14 data models, reviewed over 11 thousand attributes, and provided high-level diagrams of the Land and Reservoir data systems.

Data Warehouse Report Functional Requirements Lead

Mr. Frank constructed Obligation, Purchase Order, and Budget type reports that would provide analytical capabilities for their analysts. Mr. Frank gathered and documented PURE report requirements, created test scripts, reviewed data, and presented training material. Mr. Frank is a part of the design, development, and implementation team for the financial and purchase order data mart. Data from the Oracle Financial System (DELPHI via DTF) is loaded into an Oracle database for Business Objects reporting. Mr. Frank’s key responsibilities include writing report requirements, understanding the data model, testing Business Objects reports, interfacing with the client in a daily working team environment, and ensuring key concerns and issues are raised to appropriate people. Current key system knowledge with PURE, Fund Analysis, Labor Distribution, Payroll Analysis, Project Activity Dictionary, Cost Accounting, PURE Portal and was the project Manager of the IBM team.

General Ledger (eaGLe) Project

Mr. Frank provided detailed financial reports from their new financial system. Mr. Frank designed, developed, and implemented an accounting data mart. Data from the Oracle General Ledger is migrated to Teradata for Microstrategy reporting. Key responsibilities included writing report requirements, understand the data model, development of Microstrategy reports.  Mr. Frank interfaced with the client in a daily working team environment, ensuring key concerns and issues were raised to appropriate people, and interfaced with USPS Enterprise Data Warehouse personnel.

In support of IBM marketing efforts, Mr. Frank led a three-person technical editor team. He worked with technical and functional proposal leads and partners and coordinating efforts with the graphics team.

Human Resource Match Database Reporting (Internal Project)

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) (acquired by IBM in 2002)

Mr. Frank designed and developed PwC employee productivity and availability reports for Asia, Europe, and Americas. Using data from an Oracle database, he created Impromptu Reports, and instituted data warehouse best practices. His key responsibilities included designing and developing reports. 

 Data Warehouse Project

U.S. Army, University Access Online (eArmyU)

The Army asked IBM to develop and maintain an education web portal for soldiers. The eArmyU portal, enabled eligible enlisted Army soldiers to participate in online degree programs while serving on active duty in the military. Mr. Frank designed, developed, and implemented a student/soldier education data warehouse. He designed the DW data model (star schema) to contain student data. Eight subject areas (stars) were created using shared dimensions. Mr. Frank extracted data from a PeopleSoft application to the data warehouse tables utilizing Oracle stored procedures. His key responsibilities included setting requirements, design documentation, developing a DW data model, and creating Cognos Impromptu reports and PowerPlay Cubes with reports.
