About Dr Vijay Reddy

A respected academic physician, Dr. Vijay Reddy draws on his extensive knowledge of bone marrow biology and stem cell and blood transplantation when he provided patients with cancer treatment. He was Medical Director of Bone Marrow transplantation at the Florida center for cellular therapy, in Orlando and engages with the University of Central Florida as a professor. Dr. Vijay Reddy has treated patients who have serious conditions such as myeloma, lymphoma, and leukemia.

Respected as a medical researcher, Dr. Reddy has authored articles on the immune system’s role in preventing and fighting cancer. Among his published papers is “Long-Term Survival and Late Effects among 1-year Survivors of Second Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation for Relapsed Acute Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes” (Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, 2014).

Dr. Vijay Reddy holds a doctorate in cancer immunology and a medical degree , in addition to completing post doctoral fellowship training at Harvard Medical School. He has a history of engagement with the Foundation of Accreditation of Cellular Therapy as clinical inspector and has been active with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
