Dr. Parisi founded Las Vegas Vein in Nevada in 2006 to offer patients with varicose veins, edema, claudication, and other painful limb conditions the opportunity to receive high-quality rehabilitative procedures. Dr. Thomas Parisi was honored with a Patient’s Choice Award every year from 2008 to 2010, and he was named to the Best of Las Vegas list in 2011. His practice continues to garner a reputation for exceptional patient care.
Dr. Thomas Parisi earned his MD from The University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherlands, where he held membership in Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society and Sigma Xi, a scientific research society. He soon developed an interest in endovascular surgery and treatments, and he became proficient in all aspects of leg and limb rehabilitation, including vein care, edema (swelling), and peripheral artery disease (PAD). More specifically, Dr. Parisi is skilled in the VNUS Closure system, a popular treatment for varicose veins.
Dr. Thomas Parisi performs evaluative procedures such as vascular ultrasounds, and he remains well versed in administering hyperbaric medicine, which uses oxygen in a medical capacity at high pressure. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Thomas Parisi is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and he also holds membership in the American College of Phlebology, The Society for Vascular Medicine, and the Society of Limb Salvage and Functional Reconstruction. In addition to his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer and President of Las Vegas Vein, Dr. Thomas Parisi serves as a Physician at Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center.
