Dr Soloman Shah Md

An experienced clinician and researcher in gastroenterology, Soloman Shah, MD, builds on more than 21 years of professional experience. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk in 1993, then relocated to Maryland to begin an internship and residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing his gastroenterology fellowship at the same institution, Soloman Shah, MD, returned to Virginia to join Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates of Reston. In 2015, he celebrated his 16th anniversary with the practice.
A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Soloman Shah also holds board certification in his subspecialty, gastroenterology. He maintains active membership in the American Society of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association, as well as the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Physicians. Published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Dr. Shah has also collaborated with Dr. Stephen James on an investigation of enteric flora in the development of inflammatory bowel disease.
