His diverse career has included positions as a physician, medical director, researcher, and professor. He has served both hospitals and universities, as well as research facilities. Dr. Kadkade is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, where he received a Doctor of Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Prajoy Kadkade is currently professionally involved with several medical institutions, providing directorship, educational support, and research expertise for a variety of medical spheres. Most recently, Dr. Kadkade joined the North Shore University Medical Center, serving as the Director of Otolaryngology & Communicative Disorders. He is also the Founder and Co-Director of the Laboratory for Laryngeal Electrophysiology Clinical Testing at the North Shore University Hospital - Long Island Jewish Medical Center, established in 2009. Additionally, Dr. Kadkade serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology & Communicative Disorders at both the North Shore University - Long Island Hofstra School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. An accomplished medical expert, Dr. Kadkade has produced numerous publications throughout his career. His recent publications include a study titled "Hemoptysis, Hoarseness and Dyspnea in an Older Man," published in ConsultantLive; a "Clinical Procedures Manual," published in E-medicine; and "Solitary Extramedullary Plasmacytoma of the Vocal Cord in an Adolescent," published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Kadkade is a member of several organizations, including the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Association of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs, and the American Society of Geriatric Otolaryngology. Dr. Prajoy Kadkade currently resides in New York. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, running, and snowboarding.
