Derek Phair earned his Doctor of Computer Science degree from Colorado Technical University.  He currently works at the LDS Church as a Solutions Architect over Project and Portfolio Management tools for a global user-base.  He has over 15 years experience in IT that spans multiple disciplines ranging from hardware/network configuration and support to software development and program management.  Derek has also worked across a variety of industries including: tax, accounting, and auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers, semi-conductor manufacturing at LSI Logic, and outsourcing - including international travel. Derek holds an MBA in Operations Management.  He also teaches as an adjunct professor for Webster University in their Masters in Information Technology Management program.
