Served as Member of Board of Directors of the Franklin Elementary School District for 7 years and was instrumental with other Board Members and the Superintendent in building the new multipurpose room, rebuilding the entire infrastructure of the school, updating to the latest textbooks and computers, and establishing the unique full-time music instruction program. Has served on the Boards of the American Cancer Society, United Way and volunteered for the Yuba Sutter Fair and 4H auction for 20 years.


Dr. Robert Peppercorn has practiced dermatology and cosmetic surgery in Yuba City, California, for the past three decades. At Sutter Medical Advanced Dermatology & Laser Center, Dr. Peppercorn treats conditions of the nails, hair, and skin. He also offers Yuba City patients cosmetic options such as liposuction surgery and laser rejuvenation, as well as other non-invasive procedures such as Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra and chemical peels. For the past three years, Dr. Robert Peppercorn has held additional responsibilities as Chairman of the Department of Dermatology with the Sutter Medical Foundation Advanced Dermatology and Laser Center, part of the Sutter Health Network. He is one of only two physicians affiliated with the network’s Sutter North Medical Group who has been awarded the Sutter Medical Network’s Patient Choice Award. Dr. Peppercorn has served on the board of directors of several local institutions over the years, including Franklin Elementary School District and Gold Country Bank. Voted in the annual Best of Yuba-Sutter Awards of 2012, Dr. Peppercorn was awarded Best Physician in Local Area, Best Cosmetic Specialist in Local Area and the office of Sutter Advanced Dermatology and Laser Center was voted Best Customer Service in Local Area. He has also contributed to the efforts of the American Cancer Society, Inc., and the United Way Worldwide. He enjoys traveling, skiing, photography, and biking.

Voted on of top physicians each year by citizens of Yuba City and Marysville from 2000-2011. Yuba City Council presented me Outstanding Citizen Award in 2006. Received commendation awards for volunteer work for American Cancer Society, Rideout Hospital Foundation, Yuba Sutter Fair, Muscular Dystrophy Telethon. Hosted, produced, and wrote the cable television program in California called The Medical Explorer seen on local cable TV from 1983 - 2005, the longest duration run of any cable TV program in California history. Medical office building received the top development award fro the City of Yuba City in 1986 and again when enlarged in 2005.
