Dr. Navid Navizadeh manages the Valencia Center for Women’s Health in Valencia, California. From his office there, the doctor provides services and treatments designed to improve women’s health at every stage of life and to fit the diverse needs of the women he sees. Dr. Navizadeh offers general obstetric and gynecological check-ups, adolescent gynecology services, family planning, infertility treatment, genetic counseling, fetal testing, gynecological cancer screening, and much more. Dr. Navid Navizadeh laid the foundation for his medical career at the University of California, where he earned highest honors in his Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology. During this time, Dr. Navid Navizadeh also complemented his studies with an intense research fellowship in genetics and molecular biology at UCSF. After graduating, Dr. Navid Navizadeh moved on to complete his medical degree at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, where he became involved in studying new advances in obstetrics, gynecology, endocrinology, infertility, and ultrasound imaging. Two of Dr. Navid Navizadeh’s most important studies were research projects on the effects of seizure disorders and treatments during pregnancy as well as studying estrogen, for which he received an award from the Pacific Coast Fertility Society. After medical school, Dr. Navid Navizadeh went on to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where he interned at its busy maternity unit. Dr. Navid Navizadeh then changed to Mount Sinai-Maimonides Medical Center (now Maimonides Medical Center) in New York, where he completed his residency and conducted studies related to pregnancy and obstetrics. At this hospital, Dr. Navid Navizadeh’s work garnered recognition from professionals in his field. His investigation into ultrasonography and its ability to predict preterm labor was well received, as was his work on the infertility and endocrinology- related study of embryo size and quality as related to in vitro fertilization.

In private practice, Dr. Navi has expanded his interest in the field of urogynecology and pelvic surgery.  In southern California, he pioneered  the use of the new Transopturator Sling procedure in the treating female urinary incontinence.  This new procedure has significantly reduced the risk of complication of these types of surgeries while significantly reducing the operating time and postoperative pain and discomfort.
