Dr. Natasha Dwamena possesses nearly 15 years of experience in the medical field. Since 1998, Dr. Dwamena has served in a myriad of established hospitals and health care facilities, focusing primarily on obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Natasha Dwamena is a 1999 graduate of Stanford University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts, concentrating on Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. In 2005, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then went on to complete her residency training at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, during which time she was selected as a resident representative for the 2007 National Medical Association (NMA) conference. From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Natasha Dwamena served as a private practice physician in High Point, North Carolina. Her responsibilities consisted of collaborating with local maternal medicine and OB/GYN physicians, conducting in-office procedures such as cryoablation, colonoscopy, endometrial ablation, and IUD placement. Additionally, Dr. Dwamena attended and participated in the hospital's Maternal Child Health and OB meetings and took part in a home pregnancy program affiliated with the Guilford County Department of Public Health. Dr. Natasha Dwamena is board eligible with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina. In her free time, Dr. Dwamena enjoys cultural anthropology, dancing, photography, political history, and traveling.
