An alumnus of George Washington University, Dr. Michael Coady specializes in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, and serves as chief of cardiovascular surgery at Stamford Hospital. Dr. Michael Coady oversees new referrals and post-operative patients at the Hospital’s Tully Health Center. In November of 2012, Stamford Hospital completed the renovation if its multimillion-dollar hybrid operating room. Serving the needs of cardiac and vascular surgeons, the hybrid facility features advanced imaging equipment that captures angiographic photographs, which are essential for planning and performing effective cardiovascular procedures. Expanding its capabilities to carry out minimally invasive surgeries, the operating room was designed with efficiency in mind and eliminates the need to transfer patients requiring multiple procedures to different surgical suites. A member of the Planetree Alliance, a nonprofit patient-centered care organization, Stamford Hospital is dedicated to achieving the highest level of care.
