Pediatrician Dr. Marianne Finerman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1975. The same year, Dr. Marianne Finerman enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, earning her Master’s degree in Public Health only one year later. Following this, she obtained her medical degree at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Graduating from this institution in 1979, Dr. Marianne Finerman moved back to Los Angeles to start a residency in general pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles Center for the Health Sciences.
Next, Dr. Marianne Finerman served as an Ambulatory Care Pediatrician for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. In 1984, she obtained medical certification from The American Board of Pediatrics and founded her own private practice in Encino, California. Dr. Marianne Finerman served in this capacity for two years before joining Pediatric Associates Medical Group Inc., in Sherman Oaks, California, where she worked for 24 years as a full-time Pediatrician. As a respected physician, Dr. Marianne Finerman has provided medical services for children up to the age of 20 at her office and local hospitals, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, and Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
Dr. Marianne Finerman is a lifetime member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society and holds memberships with the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and she is a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
