After interning as a clinical psychologist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Lynn Aurich took on her first professional position as an instructor of psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at the Tulane University School of Medicine. Over the following three decades, she held positions ranging from the consulting editor of The Southern Psychologist: A Journal of Louisiana Psychological Association to a clinical psychologist with the Lafayette Psychiatric Group. Since 2002, Dr. Lynn Aurich has managed her own office as a clinical neuropsychologist in Lafayette.
Dr. Lynn Aurich, a member of the American Psychological Association, conducted her undergraduate studies at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette as a student of psychology and English. After graduating she enrolled in a master’s program with Stephen F. Austin State University, located in Nacogdoches, Texas. She concluded her education at the University of Southern Mississippi, achieving a doctorate in clinical psychology. Throughout her collegiate and post-collegiate studies, she became a member of the Phi Kappa Phi National Scholastic Honor Society, the Sigma XI National Honor Society in Research, and the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology.
