Licensed to practice medicine in both Wisconsin and North Carolina, Dr. Kimberly Frank draws on her considerable psychiatric experience to help children and adolescents with a variety of conditions, including anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, asperger’s syndrome, autism, and trauma. As a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist in the Aurora Behavioral Health System, Dr. Kimberly Frank works closely with families, school systems, and patients to develop treatment programs intended to secure peace of mind for each individual.
Dr. Kimberly Hammes Frank graduated with distinction, top 10%, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and continued to excel throughout her education and subsequent career. During her fellowship at Creighton-University of Nebraska Department of Psychiatry, she was named Chief Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She was also presented with the award of Outstanding Fellow in the same department. Dr. Kimberly Frank carries board certification in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, she served as an Oral Board Examiner for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and spent time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Child and Adult Psychiatry as well as the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Frank’s work is informed by her values and compassion, as reflected in her support for a variety of charities. Through Franciscan Peacemakers, she aids in providing food and nourishment to people who are underprivileged. She has donated to Doctors Without Borders, World Vision, and Heifer International. Dr. Kimberly Frank has also volunteered time to children, teaching art history and giving presentations on mental health issues that affect children and teens
