Over the past two decades, Dr. Jeffrey Sack has enjoyed an outstanding career in cardiology. Currently, Dr. Sack practices privately in Sarasota, Florida, at the Centre for Cardiology, Inc. There, Dr. Sack performs a variety of interventional cardiac procedures and treats vascular disease. Dr. Sack has been in the private practice of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular diseases serving the Sarasota community since 1993.Dr. Jeffrey Sack earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Sack then performed an internship in internal medicine at Seton Hall University’s St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, where he remained to complete his residency. Dr. Sack then performed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine. He finished his training by completing dual fellowships at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Sack holds appointments at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, where he serves on the Credentials Committee. As an extremely active member of the professional community, Dr. Sack participates in numerous organizations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Angiology, the Society of Angiography and Interventions, and the American Society of Angiology. Dr. Sack also served as a scientific reviewer for the Journal of the American College of Emergency Physicians, as well as the American Journal of Cardiology. Dr. Sack is a professional jazz and classical guitar player. Among other activities, he enjoys playing tennis, scuba diving, and skiing.
