Washington resident Jamie Lewis, MD, works as a staff physician for Inland Neurosurgery and Spine, medical director for St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, and as a contract physician for the State of Washington. Dr. Jamie Lewis focuses on physical rehabilitation and pain management and medication in all three of his positions.
Dr. Lewis is experienced in a variety of nonsurgical treatments and procedures for spinal conditions and pain management. He joined Inland Neurosurgery in 2012 after working at a practice in Spokane, Washington, that specializes in nonsurgical treatments for spinal conditions. The procedures and services Dr. Lewis currently offers at Inland Neurosurgery include evaluation and management of spine disorders, epidural steroid injections, and spinal cord stimulation as an alternative to spinal surgery. In 2012, Dr. Lewis also began consulting for physicians with patients on high opioid dosages as a contract physician.
As the medical director for the Pain Program (SIMP) at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, he oversees a team providing outpatient therapy for injured workers facing difficulties returning to their jobs. The program offers a number of therapy types, pain management education, biofeedback counseling, and rehabilitation services.
Jamie Lewis, MD, has board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and in pain medicine from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is licensed to practice medicine in Washington, Idaho, and California.
