Summary

A former military physician, Dr. James Eells now treats patients through his personalized-care practice in Las Vegas. In the early 1990s, he spent four years as an active-duty physician at nearby Nellis Air Force Base, where he provided care for internal and cardiopulmonary conditions. Today, Dr. Eells evaluates fewer patients, but on a more consistent basis. He conducts annual executive physicals, advocates a healthy lifestyle, tests vitamins and supplements, and gives advice about anti-aging habits and treatments. Before entering the medical field, Dr. Eells enrolled in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he completed a Bachelor of Science, studying biology and chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Next, he completed his formal training at Las Vegas’ University Medical Center, where he served as a resident, treating patients in the intensive care and cardiac-care units. Dr. James Eells also spent three years as a physician at Internal Medicine Associates, where he provided inpatient as well as outpatient care. The 20-physician practice was recognized for the caliber of its professionals and its high level of care. Previously, the doctor provided urgent and primary care through the University Medical Center’s Peccole Ranch office.Outside of work, Dr. James Eells enjoys the outdoors, going camping and backpacking regularly. He particularly appreciates the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Lake Tahoe area, and cabins in Southern Utah.
