Over the course of his career, Dr. Gregg Lucksinger has applied his skills and knowledge in a number of areas related to health care. Since 2009, Dr. Lucksinger has served as Medical Director of Tekton Research, Inc., a clinical research firm based in Austin, Texas. 

In addition to this position, Dr. Gregg Lucksinger is Chief Medical Officer of Trovare, Inc., a software and pharmaceutical research company that he co-founded in 2010. The firm develops software used in pharmaceutical clinical trials. With his associates, Dr. Lucksinger has developed Trovare eTrials, an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) product. It helps to streamline the performance of EDC and data management tools into a customizable and intuitive data capture product. Dr. Lucksinger helped to start the company with the intent of providing the only EDC serving as a true electronic source document while also accelerating the process of data capture. eTrials is designed to accommodate input from smartphones, tablets and fixed workstations. Moreover it has been designed from day one to be fully CDISC compliant.

Prior to his current roles, Dr. Gregg Lucksinger served as Chief Medical Officer at New Road Health, LLC, an Internet health portal company, from 2007 to 2008. His first medical informatics experience began in 2004 as a beta tester for an electronic medical record product followed by a stint working for that company. Previously, he was Medical Director of Health South Hospital from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, he worked as a co-owner and Physician Investigator of Central Texas Clinical Research from 1999 until 2007. An alumnus of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Lucksinger earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin.
