Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from The University of Western Ontario, in Canada. He went on to receive a medical degree from The University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and completed an internship with McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko performed a residency and a fellowship with Kresge Eye Institute at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, specializing in oculoplastic, orbital, and neuro-ophthalmic surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko enjoys activities such as skiing, reading, and coaching a local youth hockey team. Voted one of the Best Doctors by Best Doctors, Inc., Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko also was given the Honor Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko holds a Florida Medical License and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He currently runs his own practice in Tampa, Florida, as an Oculoplastic, Orbital, and Neuro-ophthalmic Surgeon who specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery, thyroid eye disease, orbital disease, tearing, and dry eye problems. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of South Florida. Previously, Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko held the titles of Chief of Ophthalmology with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Chief of Surgery with Memorial Hospital of Tampa. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko maintains membership with the International Society of Orbital Disorders, the International Orbital Society, the International Society of Ocular Trauma, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, and the Neuro-Ophthalmic Surgical Society. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko makes charitable contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Florida Holocaust Museum. Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko also travels as an international lecturer on oculoplastic and orbital surgery.
