Document Control Procedures

Experience applying standard document control procedures for part number creation and revision control to manage documentation changes. Detailed design documentation, including mechanical drawings, assemblys, parts lists, ECOs.

Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), design limits and tolerances. Played a key design role focusing on supplier selection, cost minimization. Experience working with a variety of materials: polymers, metal alloys and familiarity with various fabrication processes such as injection molding, casting and welding, sheet metal fabrication. Working with teams that quickly conceptualizes new mechanical designs, develops them, and brings them to market. I've worked in every process used to create and assemble a hard drive and strive to stay informed of changes in processes and designs.

Communication Skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication skills with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, technically challenging environments. Interfacing with manufacturing to facilitate manufacturing process development.
