Summary

Recently named Professor of Urology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Erik Goluboff has earned widespread recognition for excellence in teaching and research. Most recently, as the Physician-in-Charge of Urologic Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, he received the Beth Israel Department of Urology's Teacher of the Year Award. Dr. Erik Goluboff has also earned Teacher of the Year from the Department of Urology at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he taught for a decade as Professor of Clinical Urology.Erik Goluboff, M.D., presents extensively at Grand Rounds and conferences for Beth Israel Medical Center, and he has served as a preceptor both at Beth Israel and at Columbia University. Also an in-demand lecturer, he appeared as a Keynote Speaker at the annual meeting of the greater Chicago area's Us Too prostate cancer support groups. At the 9th International Prostate Cancer Update, he taught on the use of exisulind in treating cases of advanced prostate cancer. Dr. Goluboff has also presented at the Uro-Updates event in New York City, where he discussed patient selection criteria for partial nephrectomy procedures as well as selection and outcomes related to radical prostatectomies. Highly respected in the peer review community, Erik Goluboff, M.D., reviews submissions for the New England Journal of Medicine, Urologic Oncology, and Urology. He serves on the editorial board for such highly respected journals as Minimally Invasive Surgery and World Journal of Clinical Oncology, and he consults regularly for Pharmacoeconomics and the Journal of Urology. His own original research has received widespread publication as well and can be found in such peer-reviewed publications as the Journal of Medicine and the Person, the Journal of the Society of Integrative Oncology, and the World Journal of Urology. In addition, Dr. Erik Goluboff has contributed to several editions of the Urology Board Review Manual and to several widely used urology and oncology texts.
