As President of the Niagara-Orleans School Board Association, I work with representatives of a coalition of ten public school districts of Niagara and Orleans Counties. Our annual Legislative Breakfast has been scheduled for January 24, 2014...stay tuned!
Presently I am serving as the Secretary of the Lockport City School Board.
In addition, I am the Legislative Liason, the Chair of the Policy Committee, and the Lockport representative to the Niagara-Orleans School Board.
I travel frequently to network with other districts and State officials.
Currently I am teaching New York State Regents level French II to two talented 9th grade classes.
Observed best practice across the curriculum in every subject of all three high schools and all four middle schools. Kudos to the Williamsville Central School District!
Compiled IEP data on testing modifications and scheduled Regents exams for approximately 600 Special Education Students in the largest summer school program in Western New York.
I taught two sections of a course entitled "Reading Disabilities Diagnosis" in the College of Education.
From the spring of 2008 to the summer of 2011 I consecutively taught the following composition course as an adjunct instructor:
LAI 414 Language, Cognition and Writing (undergraduate level—fall and spring)
LAI 514 Language, Cognition and Writing (graduate level—summer only)
Dr. James L. Collins and I were hired as consultants for reading and writing instructional training of all teachers across the grade levels at the Cleveland Hill School District.
