I have been teaching at DanceArts for about 10 years. My specialty is in creative movement, kinderdance, beginning tap and jazz classes. My goal as a teacher... is to instill confidence in each and every student I work with. I also hope that students in my class start to love the art of dance. I really want to instill in each student a sense of respect for themselves so that they may continue to grow gracefully, confidently, "rhythmically," throughout their lives. Watching the dancers' faces light up when they see me and when they learn something new is so incredible for me because just knowing that I could have played a small role in that smile and that I helped them is an incredible feeling for me

I assist the owner and VP of marketing with the development and execution of advertising and marketing campaigns. I help plan and arrange events for employees ...and/or members and spend time working on specific elements of that event to ensure a successful turnout. I may spend time with local media working on specific promotions and ads for the gym or I may help trainers and other key team members post events on social media sites. Most people think I'm a personal trainer...but no. Just the person responsible for the "Every boyd is Important" advertising theme! ;-D

Deja VU Comedy Club

Works with the managing owners/partners to implement the Comedy Club's Social Media Strategy, developing brand awareness, generating interest in specific comedy... shows and encouraging residents to buy/win tickets to a live comedy show. I occasionally serve as Mistress of Ceremonies for the late show on Saturday nights. This is my favorite part of the job. I am privileged to be able to present amazingly talented and funny performers, I get to speak to some very "lively" audiences, and generally work to keep the show moving. Most comedic emcees usually tell jokes. I don't. ;-D
