Summary

Dr. Ben Ramaley studied history as an undergraduate at The Ohio State University in Columbus, graduating in 1969, and then went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Dr. Ramaley earned his M.D. in 1973, and continued his medical training in New York, interning at St. Vincent’s Hospital-Manhattan. He maintained the post of resident in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, now New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for four years, and completed his medical training in 1978.Dr. Ben Ramaley co-founded the practice of Langan-Ramaley, PC, in Greenwich, Connecticut, shortly after completing his residency. He obtained his board certification in obstetrics and gynecology in 1981. Dr. Ben Ramaley remained with the partnership for 28 years, which later became Brookside OB/GYN Associates, and acted as President of the Professional Corporation. His lengthy affiliation with Greenwich Hospital and extensive experience led to his appointment as the Head of the hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Dr. Ben Ramaley now practices gynecology at Southport Women’s Healthcare in Connecticut. His practice focuses on women experiencing the hormonal changes of menopause and adolescence. Dr. Ben Ramaley holds a Physician/Surgeon License from the state of Connecticut, and is also registered with the state as a Controlled Substance Provider; he is also affiliated with Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Ramaley is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the Fairfield County Medical Association. His interests include golf, water polo, gardening, and softball.
