My career as an HR executive is aptly described as atypical.  Working my way up from the manufacturing floor, while simultaneously earning my BBA, provided me the opportunity to evaluate organizational requirements and performance management from multiple perspectives.  It established the foundation for the strategic business partner and HR leader I am today: progressive and "hands-on" with an affinity for change management via continuous improvement.  Whether developing or implementing a new HR program as a result of an acquisition or reorganizing an underperforming division resulting in a business turnaround, I consistently deliver creative, sensible solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities:Autonomous Corporate Director for three business groups totaling $120 million in sales—manufacturing energy recovery systems, duct, and acoustical products; custom-engineered heavy duty and light industrial fans for commercial and institutional markets. Direct HR business for eight, multi-site locations employing 500 people, including seven direct reports.

Chief Accomplishments:

Directed and managed all Human Resource functions for U.S. operations.

Renegotiated health care plans and provider contracts saving $108,000 annually.

Established Succession Plan utilizing T.A.S.K.S. metrics in identifying high potential candidates.

Responsibilities: Directed and led Human Resources and Labor Relations activities for three business units – Metals, Fabrication, and Composites structures for a global, $430 million aerospace company acquired in 2001.The overall site population of 1,500 employees specialized in manufacturing various components for military and commercial aircraft.The Human Resources and Labor Relations staffs included a team of five generalists and specialists.

    Successfully negotiated two labor contracts serving as first chair in 2005.

    Developed strategic site plan for Human Resources.
