Senior Project Manager
Managed the development of the enterprise architecture services for a large Financial Services organization in western Canada, based upon the defined services required to be delivered in a large and complex Financial Services organization. The archiecture of a availability environment, with redundant mirrored data centres and the development of high availability services, with live failover toa second data centre was the desired end state. Key to the planning and configuration of such facilities is the identification of the business requirements and the alignment of technology to deliver information technology services meeting or exceeding the business requirements. The initiative has recently delivered the recommended enterprise architecture components and standards to meet the high availability and redundant service goals of the organization.

Senior Project Manager
Project Manager leading the planning and execution of the migration of outsourced data processing services from the current IT Services provider in eastern Canada to IBM managed hosting services in an IBM outsourcing service delivery centre in western Canada. The planning initiative needed to accommodate a very tight timeline to transition the corporate information technology services over a long weekend from the current provider to the new IBM service provider location in western Canada. Key to the success of the initiative was the detailed planning of the move, comprehensive strategy for migration of the computing assets, and quality assurance planning and testing to verify the success of the move, including fall back planning efforts which were not required.

Project Description: Senior Project Manager responsible for the overall management and execution of the migration of the Residential Mortgage business services and supporting IT solution applications from one Financial Services organization to another, as part of a merger and acquisition. Held a direction relationship with the executive sponsors, providing comprehensive progress reviews, issues and risk management, and the timely resolution and communication of decisions to the joint project delivery team.
