Upon graduating with a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Washington, D.C.’s American University, Douglas Zarkin went on to become a leading global strategic marketing professional with extensive experience in domestic and international markets. Serving as Vice President of Marketing of Core Intimate Apparel with Warnaco, Douglas Zarkin plays an integral role with the leading international women’s clothing firm that generates more than $2 billion per year. Integrating a wealth of industry knowledge with a sharp sense of business workings, Zarkin delivered a 10% operating income increase through the development of revenue, generating retail and e-commerce opportunities and operational improvements. Utilizing his years of expertise, Douglas Zarkin defined and developed market segmentation strategies intended to guide product development and channel expansion through 2010. Some of Douglas Zarkin’s various marketing achievements within the company include the creation of new digital marketing and communication platforms for both Warner’s and Olga Intimates and successfully planning and implementing the complex re-launch of Olga Intimates as a robust business at Kohl’s, Kohls.com, and specialty retailers nationwide. Douglas Zarkin also served as a significant player behind the launch of the Calvin Klein Generation Y Task Force. In addition to his various marketing efforts with leading businesses across the globe, Douglas Zarkin oversees the firm’s global strategic marketing, e-commerce, creative services, brand development, entertainment marketing, public relations, and integrated communications. Prior to joining Warnaco, Douglas Zarkin served in numerous senior-level positions with well-known international companies. As an employee of Limited Brands, Zarkin served as the Vice President of Marketing for Victoria's Secret PINK. He also served as Director of Marketing and Creative Services with Avon Products. With Gerson Lehrman Group, Douglas Zarkin provided invaluable guidance as a Retail Marketing and Brand Development Consultant. Zarkin also Co-Founded G Whiz Youth & Entertainment Marketing and served as the company’s Vice President of Business Development and Client Services.
