He received Marine of the Month and Marine of the Quarter awards.While serving in the Marines, Douglas Geyman began lifting weights. Today, he continues to enjoy the activity, striving to keep himself in shape. Mr. Geyman takes pride in telling people that he can lift more now than he could as a young Marine. In addition to lifting weights, he likes chess. Prior to the birth of his first son, he participated in chess competitions. Now, he usually plays with one of his two sons.
