I have over 30 years hands on experience in the fluid power industry with a talent for designing / engineering custom systems and directional drilling rigs. I am always looking for opportunities to learn new information in this growing and changing field.
I am currently focusing on studying for a Solidworks certification and I have AutoCad experience. My goal is to have a position that utilizes my hydraulic design and engineering experience with a forward looking corporation. One that will challenge me to new levels of learning and professionalism
MCCOY Global – Designed and implemented a replacement pump for NOV Torquemaster consoles that is the standard pump installed in all console rebuilds and repairs today.
Surplus Supply - Designed and built a 500 HP Diesel Test Stand capable of fully testing 95 percent of the hydraulic pumps on the market today.
Hydraulic Pro – Designed hydraulic steering system for a custom trailer that hauls towers for wind turbines with remote controlled wireless rear steering. Designed many custom HPUs.
Longbore Inc. – Designed and fabricated drilling rig modifications and down-hole tools such as wash-over bits and reamers.
Harbert Construction – Traveled to Nigeria to repair and upgrade a DD500 directional drilling rig that had all the electrical controls sabotaged requiring a complete rewire.
Cherrington Asia – Hired as a contractor by Hydradyne Hydraulics to assume responsibility of upgrading the design and implementation of Cherrington's 500,000 lb. Titan directional drilling rig to a 1,000,000 lb. rig and traveled to India to complete the job staying as a Field Engineer.
Worked directly with and provided support for the Vice President of Operations by assuring all equipment was kept in a proper state of readiness for immediate mobilization to job locations around the continental United States. Duties included, System Troubleshooting, Locating and Purchasing of Parts, Tools and Supplies, Field Troubleshooting, Creating and Maintaining a Maintenance Program and Supervision of Repairs and Fabrication of Replacement Parts. Also working with CEO and Engineer in the design and drawing of new tools and equipment.
Worked with all Department Managers of a Hydraulic Service and Repair Facility to insure a high level of professionalism, product quality and customer satisfaction while reducing expenditures to increase profitability. Areas of supervision to include, Office Management, Accounting, Purchasing, Production, Shipping and Customer Service.
