Community Involvement 

• Skud Frula Dance Association- Dance Instructor: o Work as the folk dance instructor for two children’s groups once a week. I promote various cultural traditions and customs to young children and possess the ability to communicate with the President of the society, parents of the children and other instructors. For the past two years I have been diligently working towards encouraging and motivating large groups of children to come and dance together while maintaining their traditional, cultural practices.

• The U of C Serbian Club – Founder and Executive o Founded the U of C Serbian Club at the University of Calgary. We work to maintain our unique Serbian culture while promoting it to Serbians and non-Serbians at the University. Tasks include planning events, organizing fundraisers, holding meetings, getting new members, collaborating with other clubs at the Students Union and donating to our local Serbian Community.

• Canadian Space Agency Children’s Book “From Blue to Red” o 100 students from Lord Beaverbrook High School closely with various members of the Canadian Space Agency, including Dr. Robert Thirske, to create a children’s novel about space travel. My particular role came in the Biology group where we conducted a 4 month long experiment which contributed to the scientific backbone of the story.
