  • Provide planning & coordination consulting services to the Homeless Program Unit (HPU) to provide foundational structure to the Riverside County Continuum of Care (CoC) and ensure compliance to HUD regulations.
  • Work with CoC committees to consult with timelines and a work plan to complete the scope of planning and written standards.
  • Work with the 25 Cities Community and Leadership Teams to capture in writing the processes and procedures being established as part of the pilot project in the greater Riverside area (western county) to end Veteran and Chronic homelessness. Provide recommendations for expanding/replicating the pilot to other geographic regions in the county.
  • Knowledge of the federal HUD methodology and guidelines and best practices implementing strategies, processes and tools meeting requirements.

The 2015 Homeless Count  and Subpopulation Survey is a one-day street-based and service-based count and subpopulation survey of sheltered and unsheltered individuals to identify how many people in Riverside County are homeless and their subpopulation characteristics on a given day.
