I have been a Nationally Registered EMT for over 2 years and have worked in a clinical environment working closely with patients providing everything from routine care for minor injuries and illnesses to trauma care for more severe injuries working closely with doctors to learn and understand what is needed to help and heal patients. I also have worked in the construction industry for 10 years doing everything from manual labor to operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators to driving commercial trucks such as dump trucks and garbage trucks. I currently have my class B license from the state of Virginia and have had it for the past 5 years with no traffic violations. I am a quick learner and always do what is asked of me.

Monitor and treat patients and consult with the doctor after screening them. Duties to provide life saving measures to trauma casualties until they could reach higher care. Keep patient info and records private and in proper areas. Also administer vaccinations to patients that needed them and give iv's to patients that required them. Also used an EKG on patients complaining of chest pain when asked to do so by the doctor

I have been in the army as a medic for 3 years and I have worked in both clinical and outdoors environments in patient care.
