- Turned around old non – performance image to one that is a capable supplier- Presented to General Motors, Fiat, Volkswagen at director level Antonov’s technology- Pushed licensing arrangements for two speed pulley with various Accessory Drive makers- Identified the Self Brand Chinese auto makers, and pointed Chinese colleague to make contact- Analyzed the Chinese, North American and European automotive market for transmission technology need and visited perspective automotive and transmission makers to introduce Antonov technology- Analyzed and visited OEMs and perspective Tier 1 partners to analyze market need and put a two speed transmission which could be used for supercharger, or accessory drive systems into production- Analyzed the supercharger market for its need of a two speed drive and developed two very good perspective customers

Dana Fluid Routing

Successor to United Technologies Hose and Fittings where I successfully built a $35 million per annum business (with the help of the manufacturing and engineering team) - Time was interrupted with AMTL, but started and finished with Fluid Routing and overlapped with my initial month at Antonov.- Obtained second new production order (in 10 yrs) for hose and coupling plant with the MG - Rover GroupCompany is now part of Orhan Holdings Turkey.

- Received High Voltage prototype purchase order for power steering system demonstrated in a new hybrid vehicle during in 2006 Olympics- Survey over twenty high and low tech markets for a variety of different actuator technologies and made recommended product design approach to meet customer expectation- Managed program manager to keep prototype delivery of a new product concept on timeCompany is now part of Beuhler Motors Germany.

Business development, account management, applications engineering, quality support and sales of a variety of metal, composite and plastic technologies for the automotive, truck, bicycle and industrial markets.- Established UK sales office.- Expanded activities with existing customers.- Developed new automotive customers across Europe.- Increased business 900% from $0.25 to $2.5 million by attracting new customers and    increasing sales at existing customersTo complete an acquisition for their Power Systems business, became acting President of the Power Systems Group (as I was the only EU citizen in their employ).

Market, development, applications engineering, import, sales, warehousing and sales of power transmission and fluid handling systems- Exceed sales budget of $36 million in FY 1998 by 10% and doubled profits to $2 million where $1million was expected.  FY 1999 Sales Budget was $41 million.- Corrected FY 1999 budget to reflect activity based cost allocations.- Introduced global capabilities for fuel, power steering, air conditioning hose assemblies and power transmission (camshaft and accessory drive) capabilities to Ford, Rover, Cummins and the Japanese manufacturers.- Turned around Dayco’s image with Cummins Engines from one of worst to their premier supplier (Dayco was Cummins’ 18th largest supplier)

Automotive Hose and Fittings for Power Steering, Brake and Air Conditioning Systems- Developed sales from $0 in 1991 to making the company a world leader in automotive hose assemblies with orders exceeding $ 20 million annually in 1994 (company now Dana).- Order book led to a $1.2 million UK government new factory grant and a premium price for the sale of Power Steering hose business.- Developed joint marketing venture with Delphi Saginaw, the global steering systems leader.Company sold to Venture Capital Group, Bain Capital, and re-sold two and half years later for a 250% profit.

Market Analysis Interior Trim- Developed market analysis and conducted board level discussions with perspective interior trim system partners.Company sold to Lear.Hydraulic Valves for industrial, and mobile equipment and automotive transmissions applications- Obtained orders doubling European sales to over $2.5 million.- Researched and established distribution / representative network in the global market.- Analysed automotive, truck/bus/construction equipment market.- Transferred 10 valves from U.S. manufacture to EU production in a factory that had no hydraulic valve experience.- Understand hydraulic logic including directional, pressure (relief) and flow control products- Trained and motivated 3 technical and 2 sales people from 3 European locations.- Investigated 5 different product/market opportunities for group companies.- Wrote U.S. business plan for two years, analysed new U.S. market opportunities, problem  solved service issues, established new department procedures.Company sold to Ambac International and now closed.
