Domenica has a diverse skill set culled from over two decades in consulting and operational management positions across industries. She first took on a role as General Manager and Business Investor in a local restaurant. She then joined Pingree & Rakow, LLC as Business Partner, a title she would hold for the next ten years.
Domenica’s strategic financial reporting and ability to network with key investors resulted in a dramatic upturn in the company’s overall portfolio; she grew its contracts by more than $6 million. Following her time at Pingree & Rakow, LLC, Domenica spent a year as Business Partner of Plote Inc.
In 2011 Domenica Cresap entered the burgeoning field of data and information technology analysis; the experience would inspire the direction of her career to this day. Domenica was hired as the Director of National Solutions and Alliances at MetaScale LLC, a national data solutions provider. She drove the company’s expansion into new markets and created valuable lines of communication between industry leaders and consultants. Similar to her prior roles, Domenica secured major contracts that comprised the firm’s largest accounts; she also collaborated directly with companies to provide end-to-end solutions to “big data” problems.
After another year in a product-focused sales position at EMC Corporation, Domenica decided to alter her approach to the industry: she wanted to focus on the industry’s forensics, not its machinery. She joined Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, where she now consults IT integration plans herself.
Domenica helps businesses understand IT at an executive level so that they can monopolize its data and analytics to best serve internal and external needs. There are problems to solve at every level. Matters of strategic sourcing, enterprise information and management, security and risk governance, and much more need to be carefully developed for success. IT should never be a last-minute resource in case of a problem or emergency; it needs to be integrated into day-to-day operations.
