Help Desk Intern

Salt Lake City Corporation

During my internship, I serviced the help-desk by taking telephone calls of City employees and resolving their computer issues via remote access. On occasion, I encountered technical problems that due to their complexity required me to properly send detailed information to other computer specialists for further assistance. Most of the computers I dealt with were running Windows XP and the main program that the administrator’s used was Windows Server 2003. During my internship, I also dealt with e-mail, printer, and data server problems. I also had to fix basic errors with over 100 different application programs written to be used exclusively by city employees.
