Being a Compliance Intern at a highly progressive and dynamic firm like Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. has inspired Dmitry Vengerovsky to consistently thrive in a very hectic workplace where tangible results are an everyday expectation. From June to August 2012, Dmitry performed compliance review and testing of internal data records. In addition, Mr. Vengerovsky assisted with post-review of daily trades for transactions that required additional manager review and follow-up. He was also assigned to create reports to facilitate midyear financial advisers‘ performance evaluations for the purpose of compensation and incentive plans. This data was also used for branch-wide business assessments. Thanks to his perseverance and profound commitment to the job, Dmitry was able to keep the company’s financial advisers constantly cleared and in compliance to do more in order to propel Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, Inc. into leadership status in the industry.
Dmitry Vengerovsky has been a member of LIBOR, the Investment Banking Group of Rutgers, since September 2011. As part of the organization, Dmitry has networked with LIBOR alumni and current students. He has also participated in the Bender Trust Case Study. This Group analyzed a company’s financial data and history, conducted equity research, and created a pro forma statement using industry analyst projections. The Case Study concluded with a presentation to faculty and peers, where Dmitry and the group also gave recommendations for potential investors.
Since September 2010, Dmitry has also been a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), the International Honor Society in Economics.
