Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer to Sandel Avionic, Inc., a privately held company specializing in compact integrated display systems serving all classes of airplanes and helicopters. Restructured manufacturing reporting, inventory, accounting and purchasing procedures, reducing inventory balance by 33% over 18 months; negotiated vendor and supplier contracts; prepared a highly flexible multiple year financial models; managed and completed due diligence in order to complete the investment process; negotiated and set up a line of credit; improved financial control, operational visibility and reporting to allow Sandel to report financial results within 48 hours of any month-end. As Chief Operating Officer was responsible for all aspects of operation including sales and marketing, customer support, accounting, manufacturing, IT and human resources.

Managed a successful fund raising process by reviewing and advising on term sheets, building various capitalization models, preparing due diligence documents, completing the revenue recognition model, preparing the financial model, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow; researching and setting up foreign operations, reviewing and setting up internal controls and negotiating a new line of credit; participated in company’s strategic product marketing meeting and advised regarding controls and procedures embedded in company’s main product. Logical Apps was acquired by Oracle in 2008.

Chief Financial Officer and Secretary to Camstar Systems, Inc., a venture backed company, the global leader in providing scalable, enterprise software solutions that help manufacturers deliver the highest quality products. Retired an existing debt facility and replaced it at a significantly lower interest rate by negotiating and setting up multiple lines of credit; converted outstanding debt to equity to eliminate interest expense and strength the balance sheet; managed capital structure by minimizing the cost of capital while providing for growth capital and a strong balance sheet; evaluated potential acquisition targets; managed the negotiation and acquisition of Camstar’s largest consulting partner; managed the integration of the acquired entity within six months. As Chief Financial Officer was responsible for all aspects of accounting, IT and human resources. Also managed 30% of company’s recurring revenue.
