Provide administrative support to the air division including personnel action processing, facilities request, front office support, and assistance in budget and accounts reconciliation.

Working to improve the personnel action process with the creation of custom forms and data entry automation.

Improving electronic access to in house libraries of atmospheric science research, presently in hardcopy text, by creating digital, text searchable, copies implemented in a custom electronic database and web front end.

Production Intern

Breathe California
Assist the Environmental Health chair of the south bay chapter of Breathe California with the monthly taping and production of the Breathe California TV show airing on CreaTV San Jose channel 15. " Since 1911, Breathe California has worked to prevent lung damage, and to assist those with lung disease or damage. Last year, we helped 140,000 people in the South Bay. The program explores different ways that you can protect your lung health, such as those on air pollution, anti-smoking, energy conservation, asthma management, and dealing with respiratory diseases."
  • Completed the production of each show through the initial research of potential topics and guests to the final studio taping.
  • Prior to the taping of each show, coached guests, working with them to develop topical and pertinent questions.
  • Scripted questions and an introductory tease for each show.
  • Coached guest student producers in the production of the show.

Books Aloud

Began as a volunteer reader and circulation assistant with Books Aloud dedicating a day each week in the office and in the studio recording books on tape and selecting books for shipment to clients. As an employee my responsibilities included packing daily shipments, media duplication, final preparation of books for shipment, circulation assistance (often working personally with clients), and training and managing volunteers. I continue supporting Books Aloud as an active volunteer.
