Born and raised in Australia, Dixie Davey has spent the last several years pursuing her interests in travel, writing, and health and business ventures with her husband. During their most recent travels to Thailand, Dixie Davey spent much of her time writing and expanding their natural healing website. She currently writes for several websites and distributes a newsletter. Additionally, she and her husband have published the first five chapters of their book, Framed, Shamed and Defamed, which discusses their experiences living, doing business, and enduring online threats in Ecuador.
In 2008, Dixie Davey and her husband moved from Australia to South America. In Cuenca, Ecuador, Dixie Davey established a website that promoted retirement living in the country, including recommended properties with a local partner. She was also featured in a DVD interview discussing the beauty and opportunity of life in Cuenca.
Having recently returned to Australia, Dixie Davey has enrolled in university to further develop her Internet and writing skills and complete her bachelor’s degree. She is also expanding an eBay store she operated before the move to Ecuador and working on refining the new health website, BecomingYoungerInternational.com.
From 2006 to 2008, Dixie Davey was a partner in Becoming Younger, the predecessor to the current website. She additionally sold natural health supplements and lifestyle books. Dixie Davey has two children, who are currently pursuing their own educational and business interests. Outside of her writing, health, travel, and business ventures, she enjoys track and field sports, reading, music, movies, and photography. While travelling abroad, Dixie Davey frequently captures her experiences and the scenery on film. She has even had one of her pictures, entitled “Honeymoon Piggies,” published in a Best of 2009 Photography special edition anthology. Interior decorating and cultivating exotic potted plants such as bonsai and orchids round out her interests.
