Summary

David Fisher is (i) Chairman of the Investment Committee of Innova Capital, a leading PE firm in Central Europe, (ii) Chairman of Da Vinci CIS Fund, a CIS PE fund that was listed on the London Stock Exchange SFM, (iii) Chairman of EnerCap Partners, a renewable energy fund in Europe, and (iv) Director of Argo Group Limited, a London Stock Exchange AIM-listed hedge fund manager.

His special expertise includes:  (a) Functions: Non-executive director, advisor and trouble-shooter for companies and PE, VC and Hedge funds; (b) Sectors: Telecoms, renewable energy, entertainment, media, financial services, international markets, and emerging markets; and (c) Transactions: Public offerings, financings, joint ventures, and M&A.

He has over 30 years of experience in business, finance and law. As a partner at Innova Capital, he led many of Innova’s successful investments and served on their boards. He also served on the Boards of the Harvard Club of Poland, Polish Private Equity Association, Centurion Capital, and Polish National Investment Fund II (appointed by the Prime Minister). Formerly, he was Group Vice President and General Counsel of Communications Equity Associates, a worldwide media, entertainment and communications merchant bank. Mr. Fisher also worked in Hollywood at Columbia Pictures and NBC Television.

He is a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors (UK), a member of National Assn. of Corporate Directors (US), and has a diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 

Mr. Fisher holds degrees from Davidson College (BA), Vanderbilt Law School (JD), and Harvard Business School (MBA). He is an American citizen who worked and resided in Europe for more than 15 years. He now lives in South Florida.
