Accomplishments - Implement rivet-less nut plates on the belly fairing - WP3 transfer of procurement responsibility from Montreal to Toronto - Aided TVM group on Inventory reduction and operation cash flow management project: rearranging installation of major cost item, such as engines and cockpit interior, to reduce cash tied up in inventory.

(Supervise 3 – 5 people on site) - Project proposals, time and cost estimation and Preparing functional specifications - PLC Programming (variety of PLC’s, including control logix’s). - Plan rollout schedule of projects, and material planning to have materials present for trials and initial production Accomplishments - Kraft foods Catalyst data reorganization: SAP integration project along with Allen Bradley data collectors. Project budget $750,000, for 6 month. Completed $50,000 under proposal and 2 weeks ahead of schedule. - GHB Control system site installation: lead the onsite installation. Upgraded out of date control system to new S7 Siemens PLC. Project budget $125,000, for 2 month. Completed as budgeted and on time.

Skills Used - Take lead in projects. - Calculate and project learning curves on implementation of new process / equipment. - Develop project cost / benefit analysis. - Provide and document training for new process and equipment. - Monitor new product innovations and track production records. Accomplishments - ROHS compliance: worked with vendors to identify part numbers of products that may contain lead, set up a scanner and Access data base for easy verification. All lead products were removed and questionable completed products diverting to USA market. - Repair Solder Station Setup: clean up and remove out of date components to reduce errors, brought in new equipment to allow for better organization. Made each repair station line specific with special station to handle overflow. Create a standard repair database for quick reference. Reduce repair time by 40% reduce repair error by 90%, project cost $750 per station. - SMT microchip Fallout reduction and recovery: project to recover the good fallout, set up the training for technicians to recognize excessive and outsource re rolling of the good fall out that cannot be stopped. Reduced fallout from 8% to 3%, recovered 85% of good fallout. Overall cost reduction of $450,000 per year - Other Projects: Beginning work of a storeroom / supermarket concept for consumables.

Skills Used - On site coordination and supervision of project instalation - Price out and research new equipment and installation methods. - Assist Controls Engineering's with equipment start-up, Electrical trouble shooting, and PLC verification. - Plan workflows and re-arrange equipment to allow old and new equipment to flow. Accomplishments - Projects: Honda Civic Sub Frame Instillation at F&P Manufacturing, and Honda Civic Link Arm Retro Refit Instillation at F&P Manufacturing. - Honda Civic Sub Frame Instillation: Developed and proposed an installation time, trial requirements, and ramp up time. Took lead position on installation project, manage team of three in house programmers along with contract electricians, and millwrights. F&P supplied technical expertise. Was able to meet the cycle time and quality requirements.

Skills Used - Began initiatives involving Lean manufacturing and J.I.T. manufacturing - Managed and preformed feasibility studies on projects. - Start-up new co-op program and coordinated with Lakehead Accomplishments - Projects: Robot Feeder into Press, Vision System Set Up For Oil Pans, and Poky Yoke Design and Setup. - Robot Feeder into Press: Developed a business plan and present to my direct manager. Worked with electricians and on site techs to install older, still functioning robot from a decommissioned line as an automated solution to loading the blanks into the press. Operator was removed from the press feeding operation. Increased production by 35%. Transferred the bottleneck from the feeding operation to the actual press operation
