Digital Marketing Intern

I work as an intern to implement website marketing tactics, expand word-of-mouth marketing via social media websites, and post blogs for company-owned dealerships. My duties include writing press releases, newsletters and articles, control e-marketing through a developed communications plan and create new ideas for use of social media and digital market strategies. I also assist the Online Communications Director when implementing marketing strategies for multiple dealerships. The cardinal dealerships I work for are Barry Sanders Honda and Barry Sanders Supercenter located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

I maintain advertising calendars, create web and print ads, and handle business calls regarding payment, new business and scheduling. I also control flow of information to sales representatives. I design all house advertisements using Adobe software, schedule run times, and file ads on online databases.

I controlled customer service, new employee training and maintained sales goals for the store. Upon receiving a promotion to Seasonal Shift Lead, I maintained the store as an Assistant Manager by offering business insights, reviewing daily sales, and created strategic marketing campaigns to increase sales at our store.

Oklahoma State Athletics

I promoted Oklahoma State Athletics by assisting in pre-game promotions, such as distribution of posters and schedules, and communicating with local radio stations via email to air radio ads. I also was in charge of game-time management on the field by assisting in handling media breaks, video board display and promotional breaks during Oklahoma State Athletics games. Additionally, I contributed to Coaches vs. Cancer by aiding the marketing department in communication tactics.

I maintained detailed records of each business, collected payments, reported daily sales via conference calls, and created print ads for clients as needed.
