Conceive and execute high-profile brand and demand generation programs for the world's leading cloud and mobile platform, managing more than 30% of the world's internet traffic.  Fine-tuned brand messaging and elevated brand perception via multi-media communications for the company’s highest-visibility venues, including an animated "History of the Internet", a documentary series "The Road to Sochi," describing how Akamai delivered Internet content, streaming media and Web Security for the 2014 Winter Olympics, and explainer videos demonstrating how Akamai makes the Internet fast, reliable and secure.  Redesigned company home page and industry pages to transform them into offer-based, thought leadership and lead generation vehicles.  Created an online “Innovation Hub” showcasing Akamai’s ability to accelerate innovation for high-growth companies  As interim director of demand generation, fine-tuned programs and applied best practices to increase email open rates by up to 2% in under eight weeks.  Redesigned corporate home page and industry-aligned Web pages to create greater site engagement and transition from a product to solutions focus  Drove development of a North American corporate Intranet presence to increase visibility for and effectiveness of this theater's lead generation activities

Drove Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications and Product Marketing for the first financially viable social media product, providing online research communities for market leaders including Disney, Proctor and Gamble, Unilever, IHG, Heinz, Godiva, Bank of America, ConAgra, Ameriprise, British Airways, McDonalds, Starwood Hotels and many others. 

  • Brought new product capabilities and pricing to market including bundled pricing, text mining, member acquisition, automated email and others.
  • Increased qualified leads pipeline by $3.5MM (10% of revenue) in less than six months through an integrated marketing program including social and online media, email marketing, SEM, SEO, lead generation and nurturing, sales training and tool development.
  • Drove evaluation and implementation of Exact Target and
  • Increased PR coverage by 700%, creating relationships with publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek to vertical and horizontal trade publications. 
  • Oversaw analyst relations, including winning of a Forrester Groundswell Award, inclusion in 14 Forrester Research Reports, seven references in teleconferences, six case studies in Forrester panels and workshops and inclusion in three Forrester Forum Keynote speeches.

Responsible for all aspects marketing communications for the fastest-growing Internet Security Company in America, with primary competitors including Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, and Sophos.  Drove creation of the company’s first automated lead generation and nurturing system, increasing lead volume by 2000% and creating programs to increase visibility in the corporate market.  Revitalized sales and marketing support materials for the worldwide Kaspersky re-branding, including development of video, PowerPoint and flash assets.  Oversaw re-launch of the Kaspersky Corporate brand, creating a differentiated look and feel for company’s business products, and introducing eight product enhancements to the North American Market.  Increased brand visibility and revenue opportunities for the both Kaspersky and its alliance partners including NETGEAR, Watchguard, GWAVA and Bluecoat, through the creation of ongoing co-marketing activities.  Implemented a corporate loyalty program that increased renewal revenue by 20%.  Produced the most successful partner conference in the company’s history, significantly contributing to 40% quarter-over- quarter growth through strengthening of distributor loyalty and development of new distribution relationships.
