Tom Lix

Excellent communicator, quick thinker and thoughtful marketer (yes, she's primarily in information technology but I suspect her underlying talent is in marketing).  ”You're confident, polished, enthusiastic and smart. As a student in my marketing classes you excelled, enough so that I asked you to guest lecture in later MBA classes and in the undergraduate program. Of course you did a great job and helped each of the students along the way. Can I say more, of course I could but all I'd be doing is repeating different says of saying only the best of things. My recommendation you have, unqualified."

Eli Rozier

“Denise is a very professional employee who had always done a great job supporting the branch managers.”

Mary Bodnar-Hayat

“Denise was a great asset to the Accounts Payable department at STERIS. She was a diligent worker and was excited by opportunties in which to broaden her skills. Denise adapted quickly to the organization and interacted well with all levels of staff.”

Shawn French-Wise

“Denise was directly involved in tracking data impacting sales commissions for a nationwide sales force. She was extremely detail-oriented, and could speak with individual sales personnel regarding the status and calculation of their commissions in detail. She was very patient when asked to provide volumns of information on short notice, and explaining the intracacies of the calculations to others who were not as knowledgeable. I can highly recommend Denise for employment.”

Darlene Jurcevic - Zwolinski

"Denise is one of the most hard-working and driven individuals I have had the pleasure to work with. She always went out of her way to assist members of the organization with the information that was requested of her and was there to answer any questions. She always made the time to get to know her peers within different departments which made her well-respected and liked in the company. She strives to do the best job and goes above and beyond what is expected of her and the position she is in. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work with Denise again in the future.”

Tammy Stanziale

Denise is a highly self-motivated, committed, goal oriented and passionate individual. Her project management, organizational and communication skills add value to all business interactions. Professional Summary, Objectives and Goals

From the start of my professional career over ten years ago, I have been striving to improve my abilities, skills, experience and education.  I am continuously seeking opportunities to develop myself and my career through education, networking and good old fashioned hard work.  The pursuit and completion of my M.B.A. is a true indicator of that willingness and desire.  I would eventually like to pursue further certifications, such as the CPA, CPIM, CFA and/or CMA.   Having said that, my education plays second to my willingness to roll up my sleeves and get dirty - to do whatever it takes to get a job done as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Professionally, I have spent the past two years performing in various challenging roles within Pentair Water Filtration.  I decided to pursue the opportunity at Pentair as a means to enhance my skills and knowledge.  I also wanted to gain further experience in both a manufacturing environment and in an operational role.  I looked at the position as a challenge; something to take me out of my comfort zone.  I spent the first year working as a Supply Chain and Materials Manager for our Hebron, KY distribution center.  I was based out of Wisconsin and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Mexico.  I worked on the closure of a production facility, movement of production lines and the establishment of a new warehouse facility.  Upon a decision to maintain my residence in Ohio, I was offered the opportunity to be challenged in several positions within our Chardon production facility.  I have worked on projects that involved developing a SIOP process, EPEI/Scheduling Wheel, updating and maintaining a PFEP as well as functioning as a buyer, planner and scheduler.

Throughout my career, I have taken on increasingly challenging positions and have served in many leadership roles.  I have been able to develop a portfolio that is broad; have experience in many different industries and areas of business ranging from finance and accounting to marketing and sales and even to law and research.  I have experience in performing functions such as reporting and analysis, process improvement, system implementations and project management.

I have strong career goals and am incredibly passionate and motivated to achieve these goals.  I would enjoy being able to be an integral part of a team that makes a positive difference in an organization's culture and operations. I would also enjoy being able to continue to lead a highly motivated group of passionate team members.  I have been fortunate enough in the past to function as a leader and would enjoy continuing in that leadership role. Being able to watch employees grow and develop their skills while acting as a mentor and leader is something that inspires me. Through hard work and dedication, I would like to become a C-Level executive as an ultimate career goal.

I am a confident, optimistic and energetic person. I am creative and love working with people. My core competencies include excellent communication skills, presentation skills, organizational skills, performing multiple projects simultaneously and I am effective at interfacing with various levels of management and outside interests. I have a high degree of discretion, professionalism, mature judgment and tact.  Throughout my career, I have developed a proven ability to work independently as well as be a dynamic team player.

I am looking forward to the new challenges and career opportunities that will be facing me and am ready to become a valuable and contributing asset to a new organization.

I enjoy a wide variety of interests and activities.  I am involved in a large amount of professional networking associations.  I enjoy anything related to fitness, nutrition, health and wellness.  I am an avid reader of business and management books as well as books in genres such as motivation, health, fitness, wellness and poetry.  Continuous learning and education are a big part of my life as are activities that involve travel, sports, outdoor activities, animals, cooking and gardening.

My years of volunteer work have been broad and include some of the following: Red Cross Blood Drives, United Way, Adopt-a-Highway, St. Paul's Home (PA), Good Shephard Center (PA), Jamestown Elementary School (PA), Manor Care Nursing Home, Cubby's Clubhouse Daycare Center, Penitentiary Glenn Park - Volunteer Trail Guide and Immaculate Conception Church Octoberfests.

Rational Portrait of the Fieldmarshal (ENTJ)

  • Hardly more than two percent of the total population, Fieldmarshals are bound to lead others. They have a strong natural urge to give structure and direction wherever they are - to harness people in the field and to direct them to achieve distant goals.
  • When in charge of an organization, Fieldmarshals, more than any other type, have the ability to visualize where the organization is going, and they seem able to communicate that vision to others. Their organizational and coordinating skills tends to be highly developed, which means that they are likely to be good at systematizing, ordering priorities, generalizing, summarizing, at marshaling evidence, and at demonstrating their ideas.
  • Fieldmarshals will usually rise to positions of responsibility and enjoy being executives. They are tireless in their devotion to their jobs.  Superb administrators in any field, Fieldmarshals organize their units into smooth-functioning systems, planning in advance, keeping both short-term and long-range objectives well in mind. They want to work from well thought-out plans, like to use engineered operations - and they expect others to follow suit. They are ever intent on reducing  task redundancy and aimless confusion in the workplace. Although Fieldmarshals are tolerant of established procedures, they can and will abandon any procedure when it can be shown to be ineffective in accomplishing its goal. Fieldmarshals root out and reject ineffectiveness and inefficiency.
  • In business, Fieldmarshals are often found as top executives and senior managers as well as heads of sales and marketing. Since they are driven toward reaching goals, they can be project managers, investment brokers, financial planners, labor relations leaders. Their analytic abilities are of advantage in positions such as business consulting, management consulting, stockbroker, and economic analyst.
