My goal is to put my Communication and Language skills to use as an editor or writer. I have excellent written and verbal skills that transfer to an office or creative writing. I worked in the corporate world for ten years, but decided to go back and finish school, which was the best decision I ever made. During college I had the opportunity to work with children in non-profit organizations: Jumpstart, an early childhood education program that targets low-income areas, and my externship with the American Indian Center as a mentor. Working with youth at risk has been my favorite job. I relate to them and have a good repoire with youth because I know how to communicate with them. Ideally I would like to write fiction for a living and in the meantime enhance my skills as an editor/writer.
